Clayton Kershaw’s sons head to stadium to play ball with dad

For Charley and Cooper, it might not be all that uncommon to have a little warm-up session with a three-time National League Cy Young Award winner. But for the lucky fans who arrived early for batting practice on Tuesday, they got a treat — a glimpse of left-handed Dodgers star Clayton Kershaw playing ball with his kids on the emerald green grass of Dodger Stadium.

On the injured list, Kershaw held batting practice with son Cooper, 2, who wore his dad’s jersey, and field practice with son Charley, 5, who wore baseball-covered pants. . Charley even tagged dad to end the festivities.
