the Tennessee Hospital Association (THA) recently appointed Chris Cosby, Market General Manager of Saint Francis Healthcare and CEO of Saint Francis Hospital-Memphis, to its Board of Directors. In his role, he will discuss issues and policies that affect Tennessee hospitals, including deciding THA positions on major issues, setting annual THA goals, and providing guidance on advocacy, quality initiatives and other HAT activities. Cosby assumed his role with Saint Francis in November. Previously, he was CEO of Poinciana Medical Center in Orlando, Florida. He earned two master’s degrees from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
the Donelson Baker last month, the law firm expanded with the addition of 16 new partners across its firm-wide operations. Among them are four new employees in its Memphis office: Aubrey B. Gulledge who specializes in healthcare litigation; Kelly L.Hagybusiness litigation; Zachary B. Landers, Financial Services Transactions Group; and Dean J. Shauger, work and employment.
